Today we are off to see a pediatric ophthalmologist.
On May 18th, we noticed her eyes crossing. At first I thought she'd just learned to do it and was playing but then it happened again and I asked her about it. She didn't appear to be just playing around. We noticed it all weekend and on Monday May 21st I took her to the doctor. He did a lot of examining and testing. But didn't find any problems. To be on the safe he referred us to a pediatric ophthalmologist.
Today's our appointment. It seems to be worse. Hopefully we'll find out more today.
Update: Kinsey is far sighted. She needs glasses. He didn't think it was a major problem and thinks she will grow out of it by the time she's a teenager. She crosses her eyes when things are too close for her (not necessary too close for anyone else) to compensate The glasses will help train the eye to go straight again.
Glad it's not something serious! She sure does make those glasses look good!
